      Hustle in Heels

The Soft Shell of a Hard World

There's a rhythm to ambition that only certain people recognize.

      - the sound of heels against marble, espresso shots between deadlines, the whisper of silk before a deal closes.

It's not about chasing the spotlight; it's about knowing you can create it wherever you stand.

In this era of curated calm and polished chaos, the soft sell is everything.

Charm replaces aggression, elegance has become strategy,

and quiet, steady confidence is the new currency.

I just got back into watching Netflix's hit real estate show Selling Sunset, and I have definitely picked up a things or two since first watching it when it premiered back in 2023. The hustle, ambition, and thrill is all something that I have grown to learn about over time. It's exciting to get a glimpse into the world of top notch real estate with all of it's twists and turns. As I dabble into the surface of this industry, I thrive on how fresh of a seed I am to the scene.

From rubble to railings, dirt to drywall, wood to wallpaper, witnessing a 3-6 month project bloom from sketches to a full-on home is the most remarkable thing I have taken in since water color paint. No dramatics, I promise.

It truly never gets old. It may be the artist or creative in me, but I find myself jaw dropped, in awe at the whole spectacle.

I am an artist of many channels, such as painting, sketching, makeup, dancing, etc and oh. Writing. Most recently, real estate.

However, something about this huge world that I've only scratched a surface of is so intriguing and attention grabbing. A show such as Selling Sunset only peaks my interest more.

      The Art of Soft Sell

The "soft sell" isn't weakness - it's a flex wrapped in velvet.
It's knowing that composure converts or translates better than chaos.

Presence sells faster than pressure ever could.

Every espresso martini becomes a meeting, every glance a conversation.

It's the art of subtle influence - persuasion without the performance.

      The Glamour Psych

      Fashion isn't frivolous here - it's functional.

It becomes your nametag, your identity. Your confidence, status of position.

The crisp blazer, glossy lip, perfectly undone hair - all part of the psychology power. Honestly? I think its FAD.

Glamour isn't all about opulence, it's about intention.

The quiet click of heels across marble can communicate more than a thousand LinkedIn posts. It's the armor that says:

"I don't need to be seen - but you'll remember me anyway."

This is a notion that I take with grace, as I have recently experienced something that touched on the topic..

I'm out with a friend on a sushi date, we are preparing to attend a networking event for business. Somehow, the conversation stumbles across the idea of your presence at such events.

Friend, a man, graciously recalls a time of attendance where a woman in red hair, red heels, and red lipstick effortlessly owned the room and garnered traction. He states that she was more memorable than a woman who may not have been so loud with presence or looks.

I briefly entail to my friend that the goal was then achieved based on what the woman was going for. But also, that the woman in a crisp black suit with a clean cut bob may have very well left a similar impression. Along with your identity of fashion, your confidence is what softly sells your stature to the next charmer in the space. Everyone has a different angle, what works for them.

The glamour is the armor that says: I don't need to be seen -

      but you'll remember me anyway.

      Confidence as Currency

Confidence has become the ultimate luxury item - rare, refined, impossible to fake.

It's the unspoken ROI of every deal, every outfit, every introduction.

In a world built on validation, self-assurance is the quiet rebellion.

It doesn't need an audience - it creates one.

Charm closes faster than contracts, and poise pays in dividends.

Confidence doesn't ask for space - it is the room.

"Power is not given to you. You have to take it." - Beyonce

      The Hustle in Heels

The hustle isn't always loud - sometimes it's wrapped in silk, sequins, and sublety.

It's knowing when to be soft, when to be sharp, and when to let silence do the talking.

There's a certain flirtation to ambition - that spark between risk and reward.

The game isn't to prove you belong - it's to redefine.
