The Design of Modern Womanhood

A Digital Product vs Physical Product

· Culture,Wellness

In the process of The Narrative Mirror, I am evaluating the shaping of how women explore modern womanhood through digital products. Whether we make a point of movement through calendars, timing applications, or wellness subscriptions, the idea of crafting routines and evolving has always been a concept for the ladies!

In a recent episode of the Owning Your Narrative series, I was encapsulated by a response that one of the ladies of Monet Insider Collective provided. Read on to gain a bit more insight into this notion.

The Different Tools

As the experience of aging continues to move on from the day to day routine, using customized agents can not only ease the pressures of getting older but it can truly assist in shaping who you are. A few questions may arise to the surface:

  • What does this tool provide for me personally?
  • How would my routine change without this tool?
  • What ways does this tool assist in my forward progression?

The Two Types

Digital Tools: A few applications that are available on electronic devices that are a part of your daily usage

Physical Tools: Products that are within your personal environment that provide a similar sense of shaping and wellbeing

A common matter for this can be that these combined ideas can truly contribute to shaping identity. In pivotal years such as (13y-18y old) and (25y-30y old), the idea of self-development is a very prominent theme that incorporates digital exploration and personal style. With things such as social media usage, standard phone applications, self-care products, and creative agents, learning what makes you more of yourself contributes to the ultimate evolving of womanhood.

Style Evolution: The Art of Lipstick

When I was in the stage of growing adolescence, wearing makeup was an exciting thing to get into. In the matter of self-expression, steady growth, and peer/familial learning, it's an addition that young females begin to explore to step into identities. Growing into adulthood, the practice of beauty investment aids in the enhancement of confidence. Venturing into responsibilities that are added on, showing up in the world as your best self, and gaining a sense of professional representation, beauty routines are then molded into different values.

In the most recent episode, a wonderful young lady provided insight into this matter. The choice of a specific product; lipstick, was a specific tool that contributed to the shaping of her self-identity and style.

This product is essential to how women can feel about themselves as it represents many factors. In history and the modern age, lipstick was shown as a stance of confidence, style, strength, poise, and creativity. With evolving concepts, that product continues to show as an element that is significant in many makeup routines today.

Self-Development: Explore On!

As the series of "Owning Your Narrative" completes, the theme of self-development is valued more than ever.

The great thing about this topic is it serves as a constant, continuous idea that is a pillar in modern womanhood. With the roles of stepping into new identities and exploring digital/physical products for shaping, learning just how these concepts truly help us is a matter to be taken with importance and excitement!
