      When Tea Meets Tangerine

      Section image

      Warmth and Light

Here we are, at the end of the year. The cold seasons flew in like a woodpecker to an aged oak tree.

It hasn't been long but the chilly-filled months call for a certain contrast.

The warmth against the cool air,

      softness against structure,

      calm against rush.

These traditional routines may seem miniscule but they add a necessary balance to our lives.

Whether it's the pour of hot tea whilst the morning sunlight peaks through your window, or the uncomparable scent of freshly zested lemon curling through steam. These rulings add meaning to your self-care routines and rituals-before-work mornings. Without them, the morning may not seem or feel as pleasant.

Steam & Sunshine: A wellness blend of grounded calm and radiant energy.

The perfect recipe of health in a nutshell. Or a coffee cup. Or a teacup.

Tea slows you down; citrus wakes you up. Together, they become a rhythm: Sip, breathe, glow.

The Tea Theory: Mood in the Cup

      What is the Tea Theory?

The Tea Theory explores the healing values, cultural and historical significance of tea, to put in shorter terms. Similar to how drinking a cup of tea soothes you when you're feeling ill or a nice warm cup of coffee wakes you up in the morning, preparing you for your day!

Every grain of tea holds it's own personality.

Some bold flavors and grounding textures,

      Or grounded. Grinded?

Others floral and free. Lightweight, fresh and sweet to the taste.

Choosing your tea is a mood check, a conversation with your nervous system.

      • Chai is spiced with a natural herb flavor
      • Chamomile, sultry and calming - perfect for Sunday mornings
      • Black - a more strong profile, yet very good for your health!
      • Matcha oozes a creative focus, with earthy and natural tones leaving you feeling awake

Naturally, we choose which kind of tea best suits our mood or vibe at the given time. While some may reach for it at times of illness, others use it as a ritual for improved health.

      Fashion Parallels:

      • Chai = Leather trenchcoat
      • Chamomile = Cashmere sweater (buttons for thrill)
      • Black = Jean jacket or bomber jacket
      • Matcha = Tailored blazer

      Citrus Season: An Inner Glow

Have you ever heard of the phrase, "Dressing to feel good"?

That ruling is a very strong and significant statement. Wearing brighter colors, even in darker toned seasons, ultimately lift your spirit and overall mood! Similar to the color of your walls in your bedroom or living room.

Bright colored walls liven the space and set the tone for your home. It translates your personality before you utter a word! I would prefer a pastel pink shade, rather than a midnight blue color on my living room wall. To each it's own!

You may not notice it but this ruling can very well apply to the foods that you consume daily.

A fresh and ripe orange will start your morning with the highest form of energy! Not to mention, the vibrant hue of the fruit will certainly wake you up before you dare to take a bite. After slicing, of course.

The essence of the orange gives you a supple dosage of Vitamin C that supports immunity and collagen. These are Winter essentials!

      Pouring The Tea

Tea grounds you; citrus reminds you to shine.

Together, they create a quiet kind of radiance - not the loud kind. The kind that hums beneath the skin.

As the days grow shorter, remember to find your balance in the simple things - the swirl of steam, scent of zest, the art of being both calm and bright.

Wellness, at its most beautiful, is just warmth meeting light.
