A Spring Journal Note

Stepping Into The Season - Motivation, Joy, Light

The start of the month is a great way to reset routines and rejuvenate your spirit! As the warmer days begin to roll in, a fresh energy is just what you need to set the days off on a strong path. With the quest for new ideas, creative spouts, and fulfilling routines, a season of joy is steady ahead. With the momentum set in place, here are a few Spring headers to bring the days in with light!

Three Curiousity Rituals

  1. Add a New Product to Skincare Routine
  2. Try a Different Genre of Books
  3. Learn a New Skill or Hobby

A Creative Turn

Naturally, a thought to try something new can turn into a fun hobby or skill. The great thing about this is your strong start to tapping into creativity! The daily schedule can consist of work or school teachings, all a steady route of hard thinking or evaluative labor. Outside of the set tasks, diving into a pool of creativity can relax your being and softly stimulate outside of normal requests.

Whether you wish to work or just practice a favorite skill, a key aspect of the process is remembering to have a gentle momentum with it. Not only will this allow you to stay steady in what you're doing, but it will create more intentional results and a better feeling overall. This helps with having certain pressures that may come with getting your daily tasks done and forcing productivity. A person needs an equal balance of rest and energy to align with high-hitting performance! It can be tough to keep that in mind in a fast-paced world but it truly is a necessity to ensure you keep your health in mind.

The Spring To-Do's

A way to keep things neat and orderly is to have all of your plans laid out in front of you! This way, everything is clear and prepared in the best way for completion. Another term for this is to create a "laundry list" - this is common to do on a warm Sunday afternoon with a fresh cup of coffee or lemon water. Here are a few Spring Supplements that I've added to my routine to kick the season off with a fun start;

  • Join a bookclub
    - A nice way to connect with others and share interests, a variety of clubs with different genres
    offer more experiences and enlightenment!
  • Attend a hot yoga class
    - They say that when you look good, you feel good! Taking care of your body helps your overall health and keeps you motivated; hot yoga has been a preference due to the slow tempo of high frequency movement.
  • Write about something different
    - As we are still in the beginning of the year, a recent thought was to expand ideas for the blog! We started with fashion, wellness, and beauty, it has been a fun experience to try new things.

The higher temperatures are on the horizon and it is time to prepare for cookouts, fresh linens, and spring break! What are some things that you would like to add to your Spring To-Do list?

Rest in Routine

With the day to day requirements and motivations, the key to staying at your best is getting a good amount of rest! A common thing to remember is a full rest of 8 hours will not only give you the energy that you need to continue a strong performance, but it will keep you thinking with a clear mind and able to make the best decisions for yourself. While it is a mere leading factor that pushing through to reach your goals can help keep you motivated, it is just as important to stay rejuvenated with a healthy diet, balanced water intake, and a good night's sleep to prepare for the day ahead.

During the Spring time, the air can tend to become a bit humid and cause allergies to rise. If you run into any issues when it comes to rest because of this matter, over the counter medicines (OTC) or tea recipes can easily balance your sleep and encourage better sleeping habits overall! Chamomile teas are known for the herbal agents derived from the daisy family, that have a mildly sweet flavor to align with daily consumption.
