Hey everyone!
I hope you are staying warm in the icy, snowy weather. During this time, there are many different activities that you can do to stay busy or have fun. Check out a few go-to festivities for the season that may add some flair to your day!

1. Baking Sweet Treats or Favorite Dishes
It's always a fun activity to do when at home! Whether it's your family's favorite recipe or a treat that you enjoy every now and then during the month, an oven baked dessert is a great way to stay warm and enjoy the "snowed in" time to yourself. This can also be a great bonding time with friends!
2. Working On a Project
Another way that you can take advantage of the time is to focus on a project that excites you! We're entering the month of February and moving from the seasons of joy into a season for love. This is a great time to work on a dream board or passion project that makes you happy. It can help you feel motivated to reach your goals or sharpen your skills!
3. Self-Care Methods
If it is a great time to get some rest, make sure that you make time for a great nap. Rest is just as needed as work, if not more needed. During the wintertime, things like making a cup of coffee or taking a warm shower are great for winding down and taking time for yourself.
I recently tried a yoga class that ended with the teacher placing a warm cover with oil over an area of your choice. I decided to place it over my eyes for a soothing sensation after the class work. It was a great way to decompress that I had never tried before in a yoga class and reminded me of the possibility of doing it at home! Whether you want to use a cold or heated cover, it can help you relax in the cold season and get some better sleep at night. Trying this along with lighting a candle can become a beautiful ritual outside of the snowy days!
During the cold days in the Winter season, it's important to stay waerm and active when you're staying at home. As we prepare to roll into th springtime, make sure to create time for yourself and remain full of inspiration!
