An Aligned Year

Steady Steps for Motivation

The beginning of 2026 has kicked off to a great start! Whether you're in the market for new ways to keep your space tidy and clean or set on trying new foods for your taste palette, the idea of "new" is a grand tone for everyone. It may not necessarily mean reinvention, but it can offer something more that will invite flow into your routine! It offers a wider container. I've been taking note of just how my days tend to reside inside of it. -

Slow Light, Steady Rhythm

Similar to the start of a creative project, you begin all of your work with structure or form. An art project has the base of a simple sketch or draft to begin with.

One of the best things about getting started with the morning ahead is focusing on the form of the day. A full 8-12 hours ahead of time, mood changes, and memories to create. With many great things, a solid foundation to everything is very beneficial for carrying out everything else from start to finish! It's a great thing that I have come to learn in the daily life experience.

The rise from your bed is a canvas selection.

The pause in your shift at work is a color change.

The evening shower is a moment of joy and relaxation from your finished product.

Front Row Necessities

The idea of priority is different for many situations. It can vary in your work, household duties and just day to day routines!

When it comes down to a time crunch or swift choices made with ease, what gets your clearest hours?

During the daily work schedule, things can get a bit busy. Implementing priority can help you keep things in an orderly fashion. Publishing these articles are a key responsibility for not just me, but for you lovely ladies! Set at a few stories a week, I hope that these quick reads bring a smile to your faces! On another note, keeping the home clean is a great ruling to prioritize. As we emerge into another year, still buzzing from the holiday joy, prioritizing order is a great way to keep your head on your shoulders and prepare for all that the year has to give!

Without urgency, pace is the steady ruling that keeps a balance in all of the tasks set for the days. It is the background character that waits without urgency in all of your decisions. It never competes for attention and always follows through on your side!

Soft Edges, No Sharp Plans

Then, there is a time for release. Moving freely and without thought. A true intention that lasts for a continuous time!

Whether that may be the approaching weekend,

- an unexpected day off,

or the start of the week that provides a sense of peace.

The days may be able to shift and you're just able to be.

The evenings are a slow, intentional break or time out. It is a time well deserved for your care. You are the only thing that matters when you have taken care of everyone else, prioritizing yourself (as we mentioned above) can allow your evenings to be left open. A timeframe or space without purpose is an opportunity to: do nothing. What will you do in that time? Stepping out of all of your life-given roles. You deserve it!

Things Kept

Well not everything needs to be changed!

Some things are best kept the way that they are.

This is why traditions are, traditions. They serve as a pillar or ruling for things that you can continue to develop as the time goes on. There are some ways that you stay accustomed to that you just can't let go. That's a part of who you are and it's pretty cool.

The "New Year, New Me" idea is always a fun persepective in theory but "New Year, Same Me" can be just as giving. The great thing about it is you can take what you want to take into the new times and create new traditions!

Carrying The Year Lightly

This year, we are taking things with ease, pace, and grace ladies!

For I am less interested in managing the year, than arranging it gently.

Stay warm and enjoy your week!
